Safaris & Tours in Tanzania

Tanzania is home to some of the most famous wildlife reserves and natural wonders in the world, including the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar Island. The country offers year-round wildlife viewing, including the Great Wildebeest Migration, the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo), and diverse landscapes — from savannahs to tropical beaches.

Tanzania can be visited all year round, but the best time depends on what you want to experience:

  • June to October: Dry season — best for game drives and seeing large herds of animals.

  • December to March: Great time to witness the wildebeest calving season in the southern Serengeti.

  • April to May: Green season — fewer tourists, lower prices, and lush scenery (some lodges close due to rains).

Tanzania is one of the best places in Africa to spot wildlife. You’ll likely see:

  • Lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, rhinos (The Big Five)

  • Giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles

  • Cheetahs, hyenas, antelopes, flamingos, and countless bird species.
During the Great Migration, you’ll witness millions of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains — a true natural wonder!

Yes, Tanzania is a family-friendly safari destination. Many lodges welcome children and offer family rooms. Some parks (like Tarangire and Manyara) are excellent for kids due to shorter drives and abundant wildlife. We can tailor itineraries for families with young travelers.

Most mid-range and luxury lodges offer Wi-Fi in public areas or rooms. However, internet connections in remote parks like Serengeti may be limited — a perfect chance to disconnect and enjoy nature!
